Journey's End arrived on Broadway in February 2007. A revival of R.C. Sherriff's highly-acclaimed 1929 drama depicting a company of British soldiers fighting in the trenches of France in World War I, the play was inspired by Sherriff's personal experiences. Journey's End is a true story of friendship and survival, filled with humor, heroism, and humanity. One critic wrote: "The play offers ensemble acting of the highest order with each man given time to emerge fully formed and playing off the others in a way which makes one care about what happens to them all." The talented cast included:
